McDonald's restaurants across Minnesota are being transformed with a brand new look.  One of the latest undergoing the transformation is the McDonald's just off of 55th Street NW.

The McDonald's on 5500 Bandel Road NW in Rochester is currently remodeling its dining room.  If you loaded the kids up in the car though and were ready to grab those happy meals, the good news is that their drive-thru is still open.

You may have already seen some of the upgrades that are happening throughout the chain, but if you haven't stepped inside a McDonald's recently, here is what you can expect: self-order kiosks, dining rooms that are modernized which will include locally inspired decor, new furniture, remodeled counters so guests can sit while they are waiting for the food and it will then be brought out to them, digital menu boards, curbside pick-up through smartphones, self-order kiosks.
