Rochester Man Hit By Car Remains In ICU; Police Release His Name
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man who was hit by a car in Rochester earlier this week remains in intensive care and police are having a hard time locating his family.
The man has been identified as 36-year-old Daniel Yel. He was struck around 9:30 Tuesday night on 4th St SE in front of the Holiday convenience store.
Police reported Yel had suffered a broken leg and arm and possible head injuries.
Police Capt. Casey Moilanen said Thursday afternoon “We are having a difficult time identifying and contacting family members of Mr Yel, as such, Mr Yel’s family may not be aware that he was in an accident.”
Moilanen Thursday also released the name of the driver of the car. He was identified as 22-year-old Steven Jonathan Cinto Cuenca of Rochester.
