Rochester, MN - (KROC-AM News) - The law finally caught up with a Rochester fugitive.

Rochester police officers took 53-year-old Brian Rathbun into custody without a chase Friday, three days after he led officers on a 30-mile two-county pursuit.

A police spokesman says officers located him around 2:00 PM at his girlfriend’s residence in the 200 block of 16th St NE.

Rathbun is facing a long list of charges stemming from four recent police pursuits, including two in one day in Rochester. The latest began in Wykoff on Tuesday and ended near Slatterly Park in SE Rochester when he ditched his vehicle and fled on foot.

Rathbun was wanted on warrants issued by both Olmsted and Winona county authorities.

Court records show he has been charged with fleeing police about a dozen times since 1990.
