Minnesota roads have been a little more dangerous as of late. And after three recent work zone crashes here in Southeast Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is issuing a warning ahead of the holiday travel.

Unless you have the best commute ever, you've probably noticed all the construction zones that are seemingly everywhere. Unfortunately, drivers have been crashing into work zones, causing damage to equipment as well as some very close-calls with workers. There have been several reports of work zone crashes due to drivers not paying attention or going too fast. Thankfully, no workers have been injured.

So if you're doing some traveling over the next week, here's a friendly reminder to take a moment to remember to slow down and pay attention when you're entering a work zone (or any time you're behind the wheel, really). Drive safe, ya'll!
