Mantorville Man Killed in Christmas Morning Crash

Cannon Falls, MN (KROC-AM News) - A traffic crash in Cannon Falls on Christmas morning took the life of a Mantorville man.

The State Patrol identified the victim as 66-year-old Elton Behnken. The crash report says he was driving south on Highway 52 when his pickup slid into the median and rolled around 6:15 AM. The deadly incident occurred near the Highway 19 interchange, where the State Patrol indicated the road surface was covered with snow and ice.

The State Patrol also reported Behnken was alone in the vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
