Former Rochester Mayor, Chuck Hazama, Spreads Holiday Cheer With A Song
If you've been a resident of Rochester, you've probably heard of the name Chuck Hazama or remember when he was serving as the Mayor for our city from 1979 to 1995. He was recently spotted on social media singing proudly and smiling while singing a native Christmas Hawaiian song for all to hear.
Check out our former Mayor of Rochester treating us to a native Christmas Hawaiian song of “Mele Kalikamaka”. That’s the Spirit! 🎄❤️ - The Waters on Mayowood Facebook Page
It was so heartwarming to see all the positive comments for our former Mayor and memories that flooded Facebook after the song was shared on The Waters on Mayowood Facebook page.
You may not know this but you can thank this guy for the flood control system that happened throughout our city. The well-known Rochester flood of 1978 sparked this action.
Thank you, Chuck, for your years of serving this city and for that great song.
