Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, is a main compound in cannabis, but it contains little to no THC so it doesn't get the person high. Kwik Trip says, " CBD is federally legal if it comes from Cannabis plants containing no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight. These plants are commonly labeled “Hemp”.

The convenience store's website explains, "Hemp has been useful to people for thousands of years. Consumers are determining how CBD is helping them every day." While the FDA has not approved most health claims about products containing CBD, this Health Line article explains there are many reported benefits to CBD ranging from pain relief, reducing anxiety, and even helping with acne.

Kwik Trip will offer CBD in vape pens, topical rubs, drops, and oral pouches.  Learn more here.
