Rochester, MN (KR0C-AM News) - The owners of a business in Northwest Rochester have apparently solved the mystery involving some recent incidents where they found empty canisters of nitrous oxide in a locked storage room.

Rochester police were called to the business along West Circle Drive around 10 PM Friday after an employee stopped by the office and discovered a padlock on the storage room had been knocked off and noticed a hissing sound coming from inside the room. The employee told police he suspected someone was in the room and after officers responded, a 53-year-old noticeably intoxicated man came out of the building.

The man was identified as Patrick Borgen, who was employed as a janitor at the business. It's suspected he had been "huffing" the nitrous oxide, which is also known as laughing gas. He was taken into custody on suspicion of felony burglary.
