It’s National Siblings Day
What a day, what a day indeed. If you didn't know, today is National Siblings Day. Also, if you didn't know, I live in my brother's basement.
Yes, some people may call that being a troll, but I have come to appreciate that he allows me to sleep under his roof. My brother, Justin, and I may be a bit odd. Actually, we are both very, very odd. Surprising enough, we have been on quite a few adventures together, and a majority of them we do not have pictures of, because well we were just having too much fun and forget to take out a phone.
Well, there are a few photos I'd like to share. Not only are they awesome because I was there, but they were pretty awesome because he was there, too. Each photo has a little story behind it...
This this the Treasure Island Bird. I have no idea if it has a name or not, but when we I turned 18, and my brother was 20, we may have had a couple of trips to this casino, so we couldn't miss out on a chance to grab this picture!
Another awesome trip. The final game in the Metrodome. My brother and I have been to quite a few games inside the homer dome, and it was always a great experience. This one was extra special, not only because the Vikings got the victory, but also because it was the final game in the Metrodome. My brother and I also went to the final Twins game in the Metrodome, but we don't like to talk about that playoff series against the Yankees. That is my dad in the photo. I thought about cropping him out, but that guy behind us with that hat was way to awesome to sacrifice. You made the cut in this one, pops.
Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. The absolute best roller coaster I have ever been on. It shoots you up 420+ feet, at a 90 degree angle, at over 100 mph+. Needless to say, riding shotgun on this beast was a great experience!
Check out this video of the coaster from the rider's perspective, thanks to Cedar Point's YouTube page:
What a fantastic coaster.
Anyway, I get a bit sidetracked there, sorry. Happy National Siblings Day! What are some cool experiences you have had with your siblings?
