Highway 60 Detour Between Zumbro Falls and Wabasha Lifted For One Week
Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) - Motorists traveling on Highway 60 from Zumbro Falls and Wabasha noticed that construction and the detour were lifted, as crews prepare for the next stage of the paving and culvert replacement project.
The Minnesota Department of Transporation said that crews lifted the detour back on July 12th, and the construction activity will be put on pause from July 15th - 21st during the week of the Spring Creek Motocross Pro National Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship event in Millville.
Construction will pick back up on July 22nd with ongoing paving work across 24 miles of Highway 60 between Zumbro Falls and Wabasha, and motorists can expect short delays during the paving work with flaggers stopping traffic in one direction. The project is expected to be completed by September 20th.
