The Harmony-Preston Bike Trail is ready to expand and eventually connect to the northeast Iowa trial system.

According to a Facebook post from The Root River Tail Towns, in the final days of December, the City of Harmony became owners of approximately 30' wide, 6-mile corridor of land that will eventually be constructed into a new bike trail that will connect the existing Harmony-Preston Valley State Trial to the Niagara Cave and all the way to the Iowa State border and eventually connect to the northeast Iowa trail system.

This is great news for residents in Southeast Minnesota along with tourists making their way to the phenomenal bike trails across the area. I know I will be bringing my wife to ride some bikes and see the beauty that our area has to offer.
