Hokah, MN (KROC AM News) - Governor Mark Dayton is visiting Southeast Minnesota today to look at the damage caused by severe storms and flooding.

Governor Dayton will be at the old elementary school in Hokah at 11 this morning along with Homeland Security and Emergency Management Director Joe Kelly, DNR hydrologist Nicole Lehman and other state officials to meet with Houston County officials and community members to talk about recovery efforts.

Some areas near Hokah received more than six inches of rain in the last week and caused flooding throughout the area. Reports say Como Falls Park in Hokah was nearly destroyed by flood waters.
