The Bulldogs offense continued to put runs up on the board, including the all-important final one in a 4-3 win over St. Charles in game 2 of the doubleheader.

The Bulldogs scored first again in the bottom of the second, but the Saints came back with two of their own in the third. Jersey Thorson hit an RBI double to score Travis Currie, and then Thorson came in to score on an RBI single from Mark Buringa.

The Bulldogs retook the lead with two in the third. Zach Myhre hit an RBI triple to score Nolan Skifter, and then Myhre scored on an RBI single from Zach Bubany.

Trailing 3-2 in the fifth, the Saints were able to tie things up with Buringa reaching on a walk, moving to first on a pickoff attempt that rolled to the fence, and the moved to third on a wild pitch. Buringa waited for his opportunity and scored on a passed ball to tie the game up at three.

The Bulldogs were not done yet, as Myhre reached on a fielder's choice, stole second, and then scored on a Zach Bubany RBI single to get the win 4-3.

Bubany finished 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI while Mark Buringa scored one run and knocked two in to lead the Saints.

Kyler Reps got the start for St. Charles and pitched all five innings. He gave up four runs, one of which was earned. Zach Myhre started for GMLOK, going four innings, allowed two runs, both earned. Grant Skifter pitched the final inning of relief for GMLOK and got the win.
