Get a Selfie With The Legendary Axe In Rochester

Last November, the Gophers defeated Wisconsin 37-15 to bring Paul Bunyan's Axe back to Minnesota.The two teams have been competing it since 1948 and now you have the chance to get a picture with the legendary trophy.

Gopher fans (or anyone looking for a cool Instagram pic) are invited to check it out when it comes to Rochester on Tuesday. The Axe will be at Soldiers Memorial Field Park this Tuesday (June 4th) from 4-7pm. This event is free.

Minnesota has only beat the Wisconsin Badgers 3-times since 2000 so this is a rare opportunity. Hopefully, they can build off of last season's win and the Axe can stay in the land of 10,000 lakes for a long long time.
