Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a first-degree criminal sexual conduct conviction.

33-year-old Dustin Beckman had been heavily involved in coaching soccer in the Rochester area and was accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a juvenile girl he was coaching. The girl was 15 years old and told investigators the relationship began in July 2016 and continued through the end of 2017. Beckman entered an Alford plea to the charge, which means he did not admit guilt but acknowledges there is enough evidence to convict him.

He also entered an Alford plea to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct charge stemming from allegations that he inappropriately touched two other juvenile girls in the weight room at Dover-Eyota High School while he was employed as the school's girls soccer coach. He was given a sentence of 25 years probation for that conviction.
