Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man accused of having sexual contact with juvenile girls while working as a soccer coach has entered into a plea agreement.

33-year-old Dustin Beckman today entered a guilty plea to a first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge and an Alford plea to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. The Alford plea means he does not admit guilt but acknowledges there is enough evidence to convict him.

Beckman had been heavily involved in coaching soccer in the Rochester area and the first-degree charge is connected to a sexual relationship he began with a 15-year-old girl while he was coaching her in July 2016. The girl told investigators their relationship continued to the end of 2017.

Beckman was also accused of inappropriately touching two other girls while they were working out in the weight room at Dover/Eyota High School. Prosecutors allege those incidents occurred in 2018 while Beckman was employed as the school's girls soccer coach.

His trial on the charges was scheduled to begin this week. He is now scheduled to be sentenced on January 4th.
