Fire Wipes Out Garage In Stewartville

Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A garage in Stewartville was wiped out by a fire Friday.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says the fire was reported from a residence in the 600 block of 6th St SE around 8:45 pm.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the detached garage which was behind the house. Tools and other items in the garage were also destroyed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimate was given.

No one was home when the fire started.
