Rushford Village, MN (KROC AM News) - A crash on Highway 43 near Rushford sent one Rushford resident to the hospital Monday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 82-year-old Ada Kjos was driving a Buick Lacrosse and pulled onto Highway 43 to travel northbound out of a driveway in Rushford Village when a GMC Yukon was heading southbound on the same Highway.

Kjos pulled out in front of the Yukon, driven by 43-year-old Don Paulson of Rushford, and the Yukon collided with Buick Lacrosse.

Kjos was transported to Winona Health with non-life threatening injuries. Paulson was not injured.
