Good morning country music fans! The history books revealed a few interesting tidbits, so here we go.

1951  "Cold, Cold Heart" by Hank Williams reached #1 on the Billboard singles chart.  If you ever have a chance to read a biography about Hank, do so; he lead quite a life, really a sad life.

Happy birthday to Kix Brooks, born in 1955 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Along with Ronnie Dunn, they became one of country music's best duos.

1984  The #1 spot on the Billboard country chart is held by Julio Iglesias and Willie Nelson's collaboration, "To All The Girls I've Loved Before".

And in 2008, "Chicken Fried" by The Zac Brown Band was released to radio.
