It's a gorgeous day outside with the bright sunshine.  Most folks are waiting for warmer temperatures tomorrow and over the weekend, but personally, I like winter and am happy for days like today!  Here's our country music history round-up for today.

2009 -- Taylor Swift made her TV acting debut in "CSI:Crime Scene Investigation". Taylor's character was stabbed in the heart with a pair of scissors.

2004 -- "Redneck Woman" by Gretchen Wilson was released for radio airplay by Epic Records.

And on a sad note, in 1963, Patsy Cline, Cowboy Copas, Hawkshaw Hawkins, and Randy Hughes were killed in a plane crash in Camden, Tennessee.
