Today in 1991, my personal favorite, Alan Jackson, joined the Grand Ole Opry.

"It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill took command of the number 1 spot on the Billboard chart in 1997.

In 2005, "Hurt" by Johnny Cash goes gold.

And in 2012, Scott McCreery graduated from Garner High School in North Carolina.
