Country Music History April 8

Today is John "Bo Duke" Schneider's birthday.  John was born in 1960 in Mount Kisco, New York.  In addition to starring on "The Dukes of Hazzard", John had ten Top 10 country hits including "Country Girls".

1989   "I'm No Stranger To The Rain" by Keith Whitley reached #1 on the Billboard charts.

2006    "What Hurts The Most" by Rascal Flatts starts a four-week stay at the top of the Billboard country singles chart.
