Country Music History April 24

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!  Today is Richard Sterban's birthday.  Richard was born in 1943 in Camden, New Jersey.  You'll recognize Richard's bass vocals on Oak Ridge Boys' "Elvira" and  "Bobby Sue".  In 1991, Garth Brooks won six awards during the Academy of Country Music Awards; Entertainer of the Year; Top Male Vocalist; Album ("No Fences"); Single ("Friends in Low Places"); and Song and Video of the year for "The Dance".  "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" by  Sammy Kershaw hit #1 on the Billboard charts in 1993.
