Good Mornin' Everyone!  It's a beauty!  Let's get the week rollin' with some country music history!

1959      "White Lightning" by George Jones is his first country single on the Billboard charts.  I love the guitar rift in the song.

1965   Roger Miller won five Grammy Awards.  Best New Country and Western Artist.  Country and Western Album for "Dang Me/Chug-A-Lug".  And Country and Western Single, Song, and Male Vocal for "Dang Me".

1996   Lonestar reached the top of the Billboard charts for the first time with their hit, "No News".
