Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The latest large housing proposal for downtown Rochester is scheduled to be presented and reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission Wednesday.
It is being called City Walk Apartments and the proposed site is along 2nd St SW, just west of the main downtown Mayo Clinic campus.
The developer is proposing a seven-story building that would include 131 units at the southwest corner of 2nd St and 6th Ave SW.
The preliminary plan includes three floors of underground parking with 117 spaces. Another 20 parking spaces would be on the first floor. All parking would be inside the building and not seen from the street.
The Community Development staff is recommending approval of the preliminary plan.
