Boudreau: “We Got Lucky”
(Winnipeg, Manitoba) -- It was one of those games that, despite losing leads of 4-1 and 5-2, the Wild had the puck bounce their way again in a 6-5 win over the Jets in Winnipeg.
According to head coach Bruce Boudreau, "It was one of those games where we got lucky."
It was a shorthanded goal by Jason Zucker with 2:10 left in regulation that provided the final margin of victory. Zuckers 20th of the season.
Minnesota improved to 15-1-1 in their last 17 on the road. Mikael Granlund, Tyler Graovac, Marco Scandella, Ryan White and Erik Haula also scored for the Wild as they now lead Chicago by five points for the top spot in the Western Conference. Darcy Kuemper started in goal, but was replaced by Devin Dubnyk midway through the third period.
