Austin, MN (KROC AM News) - It appears the death of a woman in Austin does not involve foul play.
Austin Police Chief David McKichan says officers were called to a residence in the 1900 block of 3rd Ave NE on Friday. They found a 64-year-old woman who was not breathing.
Efforts to revive her were not successful and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
McKichan says because of a visible injury, detectives were assigned to the case and the Minnesota BCA was called in to assist in the investigation.
McKichan reported Monday morning an autopsy was performed on the woman and although toxicology results are pending, “it is now believed that foul play is not a factor in this death. “
