It is going to be cold the rest of this week, and to top it off we have "plow-able" snow on the way here in southeast Minnesota.

We are in a wind chill advisory tonight, with temperatures reaching as low as 15 to 30 below, according to the national weather service. So protect yourself and wear extra layers to protect yourself from the cold winds.

We can then expect some snow coming up from Friday night into Saturday morning, much like we saw this past weekend. The only part is that the wind will play a much bigger factor in blowing snow.

The area is in a 'Winter Storm Watch' as of now, with about 5-to-8 inches of snow possible from Friday into Saturday. Drive with caution if you must travel this Friday, and always plan ahead and have some extra time so you can get to your destination safely.
