Walgreens has been my store since I can remember.  Growing up in Iowa, it was where we went for prescriptions and I didn't know that there were any other options.  Unfortunately, it sounds like some changes are going to happen for the company and stores are closing across the United States.

It was announced on CNBC.com that 200 out of 10,000 Walgreens stores will be closing in the United States.  So, will this include the Rochester locations?

A Walgreens spokesman said the company does not plan to release the complete list of store closures and declined to share any more details about which locations will close. - CNBC.com

We've had so many closings lately - Shopko, ApplianceSmart, Kmart -  it is hard to hear news that more might be on the way.

If I hear an update on the Rochester locations, I'll have it up on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio.
