If you ask a bunch of a little kiddo what they wanted to be when they grow up, odds are at least one of them would say they wanted to be an astronaut. Well... a Minnesotan that dream that as a child could make their dreams of becoming an astronaut true because NASA is looking to hire two new astronauts to go to the moon according to NBC.

The article says they are looking for a male and a female to go to the moon in the next few years. There are quite a few requirements for applicants and they are as follows according to NBC.

Applicants only need two years of work toward a Ph.D. program in math, science, technology or engineering; a completed doctorate in medicine; to completed an internationally recongized piolt test program by June 2021.

I'm guessing you have to be really really really... did I mention really smart to apply to this job. The article says they are expecting there to be a lot of applicants and the competition to be tough.

According to the NASA website, the goal behind this mission to prepare for the future and the possibility of sending astronauts to Mars. This is the first time in four years that NASA has asked for applicants. If you are qualified and interested in the job, you have until March 31st to apply. You can do that by clicking here.
