A Busy Minute for Rochester Police
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - There were two hit and runs in Rochester around 9:30 Sunday morning - one minute apart.
One happened at the intersection of Civic Center Dr and Broadway. The driver who caused the two vehicle wreck fled the scene but a witness followed and notified police. Officers located the vehicle at the man’s residence and gave him a ticket. He was identified as 20-year-old Demetrious Tankhamvang.
The other incident involved a car vs. tree. It happened in the 800 block of 6th St SE. The car was driven by 38-year-old Arthur McCoy, who was located right away and arrested on suspicion of DUI.
