Winona Man Injured in Car-Pickup Crash
Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Winona man was injured in a collision involving a pickup truck and a car near Winona late Saturday afternoon.
The State Patrol says 68-year-old Ronald Ambuehl was attempting to cross Highway 61 at the intersection with Winona County Road 7 when his car collided with pickup headed south on the highway. Ambuehl was transported to a hospital in La Crosse to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, while the 28-year-old Winona man driving the pickup was not hurt.
The State Patrol crash was reported around 5:30 pm about 2 miles south of Winona across the Mississippi River from Trempealeau Wisconsin.
