
Winner of $1,000,000 Powerball Ticket Claims Prize
Roseville, MN (KROC AM News) - Persistence has paid off for a Little Falls woman.
Pam Lestico showed up at state lottery headquarters Tuesday to claim her $1-million prize. Lestico says she buys one ticket for each Powerball drawing and that she has “been playing forever.”
According to the state lottery, Lestico’s daughter said. “ She deserves it. She has a heart of gold."
Lestico bought the lucky Powerball ticket fro last Saturday's drawing at a convenience store in Little Falls.
Hers was the fourth $1,000,000 Powerball ticket sold in Minnesota this year. The grand prize for Wednesday night’s drawing has climbed to nearly $230,000,000.
