Where Would You End Up If You Dug Straight Down From Preston?

 I always wondered where I would end up if I dug a hole straight through the ground and out the other side of the earth. Well thanks to our friends at Antipodes Map, we don't have to actually dig the whole hole!

If we started to dig our way in Preston and all the way through, well let's just say we would have to bring a boat with us. We would pop out in the middle of the ocean between Australia and the bottom point of South Africa. Nobody else, just fish. See the head below of where we could come out:

I always assumed you would come out directly on the other side of the earth, but I suppose if you dig straight down you would come out in a completely different hemisphere.
