Watch This Dad Rejects Kid’s First Jump Shot

Some people want their kids to be the next big thing. This parent, well, decided it would be better to teach his child that his shot might get blocked every once in awhile. When I was watching this video, I thought it was just going to be another one of those cute kid videos, where the child makes a basket and everyone cheers. I was completely wrong.

Thanks to Bleacher Report for the video, but man, this dad wants to teach his child early that his shot is going to get blocked sometimes.

I love this video, not only because it is hilarious, but also because the dad motivates the child to let it rip, and just sends the shot back to last Tuesday. It wasn't like the kid had a plan to shoot it, the dad had to convince him to shoot it, and then rejected it.

I don't have a child, but I had several people tell me this is something I would do if I had a child, and I didn't say they were wrong...
