UPDATE: Autopsy Results Reveal Cause of Death For Two Men in Eyota Incident -- READ MORE
Eyota, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office has released more information about the tragic incident involving three Eyota men who were found unresponsive in a garage last Saturday.
The office Wednesday announced a second man has died.
He was identified as 43-year-old Anthony Holzer. The man who was pronounced dead at the scene was 38-year-old Brandon Mueller. Sheriff’s Capt. Jim Schueller says the medical examiner has ruled out carbon monoxide as a contributing factor in his death. He hopes to receive Holzer's autopsy Friday.
Schueller says the 38-year-old man who survived is now recovering at home. Schueller says so far he has not been able to provide much information about the circumstances leading up to the deadly incident.
Schueller says investigators continue to look into possible drugs as a factor in the case. He says more will be known when toxicology results are available, which may be several weeks.
