Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Kasson woman and her teenage son were injured in a traffic wreck on the west side of Rochester Saturday.

The wreck happened around 11:30 AM on Highway 14 near 60th Ave NW (County Rd 104).

The Minnesota State Patrol says both vehicles were eastbound when a minivan driven by 46-year-old Jennifer Brown of Kasson “ swerved right to avoid another motorist and struck a guardrail.” Her vehicle then “veered across the eastbound lanes" and was struck by an SUV.

Brown and her 15-year-old son Carson were taken to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts.

The SUV was driven by 38-year-old Lee Hak of Rochester. Hak and his two young daughters were not hurt.
