Two SE Minnesota Counties Still Haven’t Reported A COVID Death
St Paul (KROC AM News) - There are now just three counties in Minnesota that have yet to confirm a COVID-19 death and two are in the southeastern part of the state.
The Friday report from the Minnesota Dept. of Health shows Dodge and Fillmore counties have yet to report a Covid-related death.
The third is Cook County in the northeast part of the state along the North Shore.
Three other counties reported their first Covid-related deaths earlier this week (Jackson, Pope, Traverse).
Seven of the state’s 87 counties have Covid death totals in the triple digits (Anoka, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, St. Louis, Stearns, Washington). Hennepin leads all counties by far with a total of 1107, nearly a third of all the Covid deaths in Minnesota. Ramsey is second with 493.
The MDH reported a daily record 101 deaths Friday.
