Last night, we had more Twins baseball on KFIL. The Minnesota Twins took on Team USA as Team USA is preparing for World Baseball Classic action. I listened to some of the game, but here's something that I needed to see with my own eyes this morning.

Team USA needed D.J. Baxendale to pitch. Baxendale is a member of the Twins' Triple-A team, the Rochester Red Wings, and was loaned to Team USA-in need of some pitching before a weekend against the top countries. But Baxendale was even wearing a Twins uniform facing his squad.

This reminds me of playing Triple Play 2001 on the PC. I would often go Twins vs. Twins and I thought that was really cool. Extend that out to playing summer baseball and a thing like that happened to me. While playing summer baseball for Mabel-Canton, Spring Grove needed a couple extra players one day. So I switched to a Twins cap and pitched and played right field. It was slightly odd.
