St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The number of Minnesotans who have had a COVID vaccine shot now exceeds 750,000.

State officials today reported over 754,600 people in Minnesota have received at least one dose of the vaccine and over 341,300 are now fully vaccinated against the viral illness. In Olmsted County, over 39,000 residents have had at least one vaccine shot.

The State Health Department today reported 9 coronavirus-related deaths that included an individual in their late 40s in Blue Earth County. 891 new infections were reported throughout Minnesota with 26 new cases reported in Olmsted County. The daily testing total was about 25,500 and the daily testing positivity rate was about 3.5 percent.
