Three Minnesotans Injured In Motorcycle Accidents
Worthington, MN (KROC AM News) - A southwest Minnesota man was seriously injured while riding a motorcycle Monday.
The State Patrol says the crash happened around 2:45 pm in rural Jackson County near the Iowa border.
The State Patrol report says 65-year-old Tom Myrvold of Wilder was driving south on Highway 86 when an approaching car turned left in front of him. The State Patrol says Myrvold was airlifted to a hospital in Sioux Falls with life-threatening injuries. The car was driven by 49-year-old Janel Loveless of Worthington. She was not injured.
A Faribault man and his passenger were hurt in a motorcycle crash Monday night in rural Rice County.
That crash happened around 9:00 pm on I-35, south of Faribault. The State Patrol says 65-year-old William Haugberg was driving north on the interstate when it left the roadway and crashed. He and his passenger - 61-year-old Lori Boeckman of St Paul - were taken to a Faribault hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
