It was a nailbiting game that went into overtime and still came right down to the final seconds, but the Minnesota Timberwolves pulled out a victory and are in the NBA playoffs. But are some Minnesotans NOT happy they won?

You have to go back 14 years-- to April of 2004-- to find the last time the Timberwolves made it to the playoffs. That's a pretty long time. And so, even though they juuuust made it into this year's playoffs as the 8th seed in the Western Conference (and have to play first-seeded Houston starting this Sunday), most folks in the Land of 10,000 Lakes were elated the Wolves' playoff drought was over.

Except for maybe THESE Minnesotans, that is. Now while they weren't necessarily hoping the Wolves would lose, mind you, the fact that the Wolves made it to the playoffs has impacted some of their plans, and not in a good way.

I'm talking about the organizers of the Prince: Live On The Big Screen tribute concert, which is being put on at Target Center (home of said Timberwolves) next week. See, they were all set to host the big tribute show, which pays tribute to Minnesota's biggest-ever pop star, on the second anniversary of his death. Which is April 21st.

But because the Timberwolves are now in the playoffs, concert organizers have been forced to move their show to Friday, April 20th, because the Wolves will be playing basketball at Target Center on the 21st.

Which is a bit of a shame, because now the tribute concert won't be held on the exact anniversary of Prince's untimely passing. But, organizers say they're making the best of it, according to this site, and are still planning on an impressive show on the 20th.

And I'm guessing they're still rooting for the Timberwolves to move on in the playoffs, too. Because even the Purple One himself was a noted a Minnesota sports fan, after all.
