The Best Affordable Used Cars in Minnesota

If you're considering updating your ride this spring, a new survey has come up with the Best Affordable Used Cars here in Minnesota.

Spring is usually the time I usually do a thorough cleaning and detailing of my now-over 10-year-old compact SUV to assess the damage yet another Minnesota winter did-- and see if it'll last me another year. One of these years I'll have to bite the bullet and replace it.

However, given the uncertain times we all find ourselves in, now more than ever, we need to get the most value for our buck, right?  Now actually IS a really good time to get a different vehicle. And many Minnesota dealerships are making it easier than ever before to purchase a vehicle online, where you can buy a car without any physical contact.

Which is why, if you're thinking of getting a different vehicle, THIS new survey from iSeeCars is so handy. Because it lists the Best Affordable Used Cars out there here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. iSeeCars analyzed millions of used cars to help prospective car buyers in Minnesota find the safest and most reliable vehicles for their lifestyle at the lowest possible price.

Specifically, the survey said they looked at "...Over 6.1 million cars from model years 2011 and newer to determine the used cars that demonstrated long-term reliability and have an average safety rating of at least 4 stars out of 5 from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Because a good car can be found across all budgets, iSeeCars further examined which used vehicles are the smartest buys across multiple price points," iSeeCars noted.

And the results? Well, the 2015 Honda Civic (coupe) came in at number-one on the list, with an average price of $12,397. That was followed by 2014 Honda Accord, going for an average of $12,735. The 2015 Mazda Mazda6, 2015 Honda Civic (sedan), and 2014 Nissan Maxima round out the top five.
