Two teams from southeast Minnesota remain at the top of their class in the latest High School Boys Basketball rankings released from Minnesota Basketball News.

Southeast Minnesota has proven to be filled with a lot of basketball talent.

In the first rankings of 2022, a total of 20 teams from southeast Minnesota cracked the Top 20 including a new #1 in Class AAA Girls Basketball.

20 area teams are ranked in the Top 20 of their respective classes in the latest High School Basketball rankings.

A total of 14 teams in southeast Minnesota cracked the Top 20 rankings in their respective classes in boys and girls basketball.

LeRoy-Ostrander, Chatfield, Plainview-Elgin-Millville, and Kasson-Mantorville are all set to play in the Prep Bowl after impressive performances in the semifinals.

Five area High School football teams are playing in the state semifinals between Thursday and Saturday at U.S Bank Stadium. Here is what you need to know:

The final rankings of 2021 were released on Tuesday and 11 teams in Southeast Minnesota are ranked once again.
