If you haven't been paying attention to basketball this summer, the WNBA season is in full swing, and your Minnesota Lynx have jumped out to a 12-1 record. One player has been recognized for her outstanding play so far.

Lynx center Sylvia Fowles was named Western Conference Player of the Month for June. This award is already the second for Fowles this season, and the 7th of her career, tying teammate Maya Moore for 2nd-most all-time! The Lynx have some good players!

Fowles has earned the awards with a 66% shooting mark from the field (tops in the league), 20.7 points per game (2nd), 1.85 steals per game (3rd), and 1.77 blocks per game (3rd).

If you want to see her play, the Lynx are on tonight, taking on the 2nd-place Sparks. Tip-off is 7:00 on ESPN2!
