Strong Southeast Minnesota Showing in Latest Minnesota High School Baseball Rankings
The newest rankings from the Minnesota Baseball Coaches Association were released Friday, and southeast Minnesota was well represented.
It has been a strong start for many teams in southeast Minnesota, including a few teams that are still undefeated including Chatfield, Southland, and Byron.
In Class A, reigning champion Hayfield remains in the #1 spot with Randolph and Southland also landing in the Top 10. In Class AA, Chatfield's strong 9-0 start to the season has moved them up to the Top 10. LaCrescent-Hokah, P-E-M, and Rochester Lourdes received votes.
In Class AAA, Byron's 10-0 start pushed them to #5, while Rochester Mayo received votes in Class AAAA. Farmington also represented Section 1 as the #1 team in Class AAAA.
