Lanesboro, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is reporting there was a rain and snow mix falling at the time of a head-on crash in Fillmore County this afternoon that sent a Rushford a woman to St. Mary's Hospital.

The crash report says 41-year-old Shauna Garrett was driving a car west on Highway 16 near Lanesboro around 1 PM when she lost control navigating a curve on a hill. Her car ended up crossing the center line and smashed into a step van headed in the opposite direction.

The State Patrol says the Wisconsin man driving the step van was not hurt and Garrett's injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening.
