La Crosse, WI (KROC AM News) - Stormy weather that broke out Sunday afternoon in parts of southeast Minnesota included a tornado in Winona County.

The National Weather Service says a preliminary assessment indicates it was a weak EF0 tornado between Wilson and Stockton.

Funnel clouds were reported in Mower County and hail fell in numerous areas.

A second round of storms developed early Monday and primarily produced heavy rain in an area from south-central Minnesota into western Wisconsin.

Flash flooding was reported in some areas Monday morning, including Baldwin, WI where the rainfall total was around 8 inches. River Falls, WI. reported 7 inches. 

Totals of 3 - 5 inches were reported in Rice and Waseca counties and southern areas of the Twin Cities.

There will be more chances of rain in southeast Minnesota through Thursday, along with very warm and humid conditions.
