Henderson, MN (KROC-AM News) - The storm system responsible for the flooding in the Rochester area produced several tornadoes Friday night in south-central Minnesota.

The National Weather Service says multiple spotters witnessed a brief touchdown of a tornado in a grove of trees just north of Elysian around 7:45 p.m. while the two other tornadoes were reported in the Henderson area. The first sighting was shortly after 5:30 p.m. and there was another report of a tornado touchdown in an area several miles east at about 5:45 p.m.

There were reports of downed trees and power lines but there have not been any reports of injuries or major damage.
