The champions of Section 1 Rushford-Peterson will take on Section 7 champion South Ridge in the Class A State Tournament in Chaska.
The Trojans have had quite the run going into the playoffs. South Ridge comes into the State Tournament with a record of 19-5, and the squad had to battle back through the elimination bracket after falling to Carlton, who was sitting in the chair. South Ridge was able to top Carlton in the section final twice to advance on and get the #3 seed in the tournament.
